I love that we have so many amazing alternative Manchester wedding venues. As a Manchester wedding photographer it’s amazing to be able to photograph at such diverse settings. There’s literally something for everyone, from grande venues that take your breath away to the intimate alternative venues which yet again, take your breath away.
If you’re on the look out for some alternative wedding venues in Manchester, then this might just help you out on your search!
One of the things I absolutely love about Bolton School is that it has such a grande yet intimate cosy feeling to it. I had the opportunity to work with Vanessa & David on their wedding at this beautiful venue and it is literally one of my favourites. It had a very Harry Potter authentic feel to the building and it was such a cosy venue in the colder months. There’s a vast amount of space available to photograph different parts of the day.
Sarah & Roy’s intimate city wedding at Great John Street Hotel was simply stunning. The venue itself is gorgeous but being based in the city centre meant we could get some beautiful bride & groom portraits around Manchester. The rooms at the venue are gorgeous too which made for some great bridal prep photos.
Sale Town Hall makes for such a great intimate venue for weddings. The rooms are beautiful at the venue and if you fancied it, you can have your wedding breakfast on the barges adjacent to the wedding venue like Paul & Alison did.
There are a few other quirky venues in Manchester that are also worth a look at including:
