Outdoor Engagement Photoshoot – Ali & Dave’s Winter Engagement Photoshoot in Manchester
Ali & Dave decided to have their pre-wedding outdoor engagement photoshoot right here in Manchester – and what a perfect choice it turned out to be!
We chose Chorlton Water Park as the location since Alison had family nearby and was also planning to have her wedding dress fitting in Manchester that same weekend. It made for a meaningful and convenient spot, surrounded by the calm beauty of nature and lovely autumn colours.
A Chilly but Perfect Day for Engagement Photos in Manchester
The day of the photoshoot was crisp and fresh – one of those chilly Manchester mornings where the air feels clean and the light is golden. The sky was a bright blue, and the trees around Chorlton Water Park were showing off their stunning autumn leaves in shades of gold, orange, and red. Honestly, it was a photographer’s dream setting!
Ali & Dave were such naturals in front of the camera – laughing, joking, and keeping each other warm as we wandered through the park. The combination the tree-lined paths, and those glowing leaves made every photo feel soft and romantic.
Capturing Real Moments Before the Big Day
Pre-wedding engagement shoots are such a wonderful way for couples to get comfortable being photographed before their wedding day. It gives me the chance to learn more about them – how they connect, what makes them laugh, and the kind of photos that feel most natural. Ali & Dave’s session was full of genuine smiles and spontaneous moments that really show their love story.
These two are getting married later this year at Woburn Abbey, and I honestly can’t wait! Their wedding will take place just one week before Christmas, so I’m already imagining the festive vibes, warm lights, and all the magic of a winter wedding.
