Wedding on a barge
As a North West wedding photographer I had the honour of photographing a wedding on a barge – Alison & Paul’s gorgeous intimate Sale Town Hall wedding.
Paul’s brother, Damian, got in contact as he was researching into gifting the gift of wedding photography to Alison & Paul.
I’ve had the opportunity to photograph a Sale Town Hall Wedding before (here & here) & so it was great to receive this booking enquiry.
They were planning to have something a little alternative, with the wedding breakfast taking place on a barge. Yeah, I was totally excited soon as they told me this too.
Damian went ahead and booked me after running through details and I later met Alison & Paul during the pre-wedding meet up.
Pual & Alison met quite a few years ago, they never got together first time round but later crossed paths again and well, here we are.
The wedding took place on a clear dear in Manchester with an intimate and cozy ceremony followed by the wedding breakfast on a barge.
The wedding venue has some amazing colours in there and plenty of natural light which is always amazing to work with.
It was a beautiful day & I’m so happy to have been able to photograph their special day.
