Wedding Photography 2027 & 2028
Cinematic, documentary wedding photography for couples planning celebrations across Manchester, Cheshire and the North West.
Planning your wedding for 2027 or 2028?
If you’re looking for wedding photography that feels natural, cinematic and personal rather than overly staged, you’re in the right place.
I’m Priti, a Manchester-based wedding photographer with more than 10 years of professional photography experience. My approach combines candid documentary storytelling with beautifully considered portraits, giving you photographs that capture both how your wedding looked and how it felt.
I’m now taking bookings for 2027 and 2028 weddings across Manchester, Cheshire, Greater Manchester, the Peak District, Lancashire, the Lake District, North Wales and further afield.

Wedding photography that doesn’t feel like a photoshoot
Your wedding day isn’t a photoshoot.
It’s your wedding.
And I want you to actually enjoy it.
Rather than taking you away from your guests for hours of photographs, I photograph the day as it naturally unfolds – the anticipation before the ceremony, the reactions, the hugs, the laughter, the little moments between your favourite people and everything that happens when nobody thinks the camera is watching.
I’ll also give you some gentle direction when it’s time for portraits, so you don’t have to worry about what to do in front of the camera.
The result is a collection of photographs that feels candid, atmospheric and cinematic, while still giving you those beautiful portraits you’ll want to frame.

A cinematic approach with a documentary heart
My background in music photography has had a big influence on the way I photograph weddings.
I’ve spent years photographing people, performances and events where you don’t get a second chance to recreate the moment.
That has taught me to look for atmosphere, movement, emotion and the small details that tell the bigger story.
I’ve also had my photography published in Kerrang! and NME, alongside work for organisations including Manchester International Festival, Factory International, Manchester Museum and the British Museum.
I bring that same eye for storytelling to weddings.
But there is an important difference.
You aren’t performers.
I’m not asking you to recreate your wedding day for the camera.
I’m there to notice what is already happening.

For couples who want photographs that feel like them
For couples who want photographs that feel like them
Maybe you’re not particularly comfortable having your photograph taken.
Maybe the idea of spending hours posing makes you cringe.
Maybe you want beautiful photographs but don’t want your wedding day to revolve around them.
That’s exactly how I like to work.
I’ll help when you need direction, particularly with portraits and group photographs, but I’ll also give you space to simply be together.
You can laugh.
You can move.
You can talk.
You can forget I’m there.
Some of my favourite photographs happen when couples stop thinking about the camera altogether.

Manchester wedding photography
I’m based in Manchester and photograph weddings throughout the city and Greater Manchester.
That includes intimate civil ceremonies, city-centre weddings, micro weddings, larger celebrations and multicultural weddings.
I’ve photographed couples at a range of Manchester venues and locations, from city-centre spaces to independent venues and historic buildings.

Cheshire wedding photography
Cheshire is particularly suited to the kind of wedding photography I love creating.
Country houses, gardens, beautiful estates and relaxed celebrations give us plenty of opportunities for atmospheric documentary photographs as well as elegant portraits.
I’ve photographed weddings and proposals around Cheshire, including venues such as Arley Hall and Rowton Hall.

Beyond Manchester
Although Manchester is home, I regularly travel for weddings throughout the North West and beyond.
I photograph weddings across:
Manchester · Greater Manchester · Cheshire · Lancashire · Merseyside · Peak District · Lake District · North Wales
I’m also happy to travel further for couples who have found the right photographer but aren’t getting married close to home.
If you’ve chosen a beautiful country house, estate, boutique venue or destination-inspired setting, tell me about it.

What your wedding photographs will actually feel like
Rather than trying to fit every wedding into the same formula, I want your photographs to reflect your day.
That might mean:
- candid photographs of your friends losing it on the dance floor
- quiet moments with your partner when nobody else is around
- beautiful portraits in the grounds of your venue
- your dad trying not to cry during the ceremony
- champagne, confetti and questionable dance moves
- photographs of all the little details you’ve spent months planning
- the people you love interacting naturally
- those unexpected moments you didn’t even realise happened
And yes, we’ll still make time for the photographs your parents will want.
Group photographs are absolutely fine.
Family portraits are absolutely fine.
Beautiful, editorial-style portraits are absolutely fine.
The key is that they don’t have to take over your day.

Planning a 2027 or 2028 wedding?
If your wedding is taking place in 2027 or 2028, now is a great time to start looking at photographers whose style genuinely feels right for you.
I don’t believe choosing a photographer should simply be about finding someone who is available on your date.
You’ll spend a huge part of your wedding day with your photographer, so you should feel comfortable with the person behind the camera as well as love the photographs they create.
If my relaxed, candid and cinematic approach feels like the kind of photography you’ve been looking for, I’d love to hear about your plans.

Wedding photography collections
I offer a range of wedding photography collections, from shorter coverage for intimate celebrations through to longer wedding-day coverage.
You can find full details on my Manchester wedding photography prices page.
If you’re not sure how much coverage you’ll need, don’t worry. We can talk through your plans and work out what makes sense for your day rather than trying to fit your wedding around a package.
Planning an engagement session too?
If you’re getting married in 2027 or 2028, an engagement session can be a lovely way to spend some time together before the wedding and get comfortable in front of the camera.
I photograph relaxed engagement sessions across Manchester, Cheshire, the Peak District and further afield.

Still planning the proposal?
If the wedding isn’t quite at the planning stage because there’s still a question to ask first, I also photograph discreet surprise proposals across the North West and beyond.
From Chatsworth House and Arley Hall to the Peak District and North Wales, I can help you plan and discreetly photograph the moment – followed by relaxed portraits once you’ve heard that all-important yes.
