North West Photographer – As 2025 starts to wrap up, I’ve been looking back at the year (usually with a coffee in hand) and thinking about just how many brilliant moments I’ve been trusted to photograph.
2025 was a challenging year for many reasons but it was also the year I got back from my second and last maternity leave. Navigating running a business around school drop off and pickups AND nursery pickups plus recovery has been something else. Here’s to a more streamlined and smoother 2026.
This year has been full of surprise proposals, laid-back engagement sessions,lively events, and some really fun photography classes – all across North West England. From countryside views to busy city streets, every session brought something different, and that’s exactly why I love this job.
I’m now officially opening my diary for 2026 and 2027, so if you’re planning ahead, this one’s for you.
Engagement & Proposal Photography Across North West England
Engagements and proposals were a huge highlight of 2025. There’s nothing quite like the mix of nerves, excitement, and pure joy when someone gets down on one knee – or when couples just want to celebrate being them.
This year I photographed engagement and proposal sessions in places like:

- The Greater Manchester countryside
- National parks around the North West
No awkward posing, no pressure – just relaxed, natural photos that actually feel like you.

2025 also included plenty of event photography – from private celebrations to larger organised events. Events are all about atmosphere, people, and energy, and my aim is always to tell the story of the day naturally.

Photography Classes – Learning Without the Intimidation
One of my favourite parts of this year was running photography classes in the North West.
These sessions are relaxed, practical, and aimed at helping you actually understand your camera (without information overload).
Whether you’re brand new or just want to improve, classes include:

- 1-to-1 photography tuition
- Small group workshops
